Meet Maria Russo - La Corte Couture
Maria Russo is the founder of the brand La Corte Couture. She holds a degree in law with a master’s in financial regulation, and is trained in classical and modern dance. She also teaches at secondary schools.
Although she did not study fashion, she has managed to unleash her complex creative world, shaped by various experiences and professions. Drawing on the past and dreaming of a future where she can pursue her passions, she brings to life a project that fully expresses her calling.

When a garment or accessory catches our eye, it’s because it reminds us of a character we particularly like or reflects our personality and taste. From this perspective, it is clear that models should not be seen as expressionless mannequins without a soul or a story to tell; on the contrary, they should convey the story and emotional aspect of the outfit they are wearing.
